Why Sengkang?
Sengkang Loop of LRT
Sengkang loop of LRT system gets extra carriages during morning, evening peaks.
- Commuters in Sengkang will expect their waiting times cut as extra carriages are added to local LRT system during peak hours.
- Eight trains on the Sengkang loop of the Sengkang-Punggol LRT system now have two cars instead of one and will run during the morning and evening peak hours, doubling capacity to 204 passengers each.
- Eventually, 16 train-cars will be added to the LRT system’s current fleet of 41 trains, boosting overall capacity by 40%.

It will link Punggol Central to Pasir Ris Industrial Drive 1, and allow motorists to connect Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) directly.

1 Sengkang Mall: Temporary closed for renovation from 25 October 2015. The mall is expected to re-open in a year with a strong mix of retailers. There will be more educational facilities and an increased selection of food and beverages options.
The Seletar Mall: Six-storey retail development that houses more than 130 brands. It boasts a diverse mix of anchor tenants which include FairPrice Finest, Cineplex Shaw Theatres, NTUC Foodfare, BHG, etc. With child-friendly facilities such as nursery rooms, changing stations as well as an outdoor play area at the roof garden.
Greenwich V: Greenwich V is a relaxed and quaint mall which is designed to be a retail and lifestyle hub with alfresco dining and casual outdoor spaces.
